I am a journalist, writer and audio producer, currently based at the Harvard University South Asia Institute (SAI). I have been writing about the development of digital media in India. I also make podcasts and other media for the SAI.
I was a 2014 Nieman-Berkman Fellow in Journalism Innovation at Harvard and I remained at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society as a Research Affiliate from 2014 to 2016. I have taught journalism at Northeastern University.
This followed more than a decade with BBC News, where I covered major stories in the UK and around the world, mostly based in London and across South Asia.
I'm currently working on a book about Prince.
